We will see a couple either every week or every other week depending on the situation. We ask the couple to commit to 12 sessions along with a couples workshop. That ensures a full commitment to each other and our work together in each session.
We will not tell you what type of relationship you should have. Instead, we will help you be the type of couple you both want to be. We are here to guide you and teach you what works and what doesn’t based on clinical experience, research, and data. In the end, however, it is you [...]
After the initial consultation, if you are not in individual therapy and need it, we will refer you to someone. If you are already in individual therapy we will support that and ask that you allow for contact between CRSH and the therapist for continuity of treatment.
When we see couples we do not see the partners individually ever unless there are special circumstances. Those circumstances would be discussed in the initial evaluation. The couple is the client. You are responsible for payment of services at the time of your appointment. Please call your insurance provider to determine what services are covered.
