Susan Ruma utilizes a strengths-based approach as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when working with individuals, couples, families and adolescents. She has facilitated support groups using mindfulness exercises to manage anxiety and mood disorders. Her experience also includes working with individuals who have been diagnosed with certain medical conditions and helping them, and their family members, manage the stressors and changes associated with medical issues or a disability.
